Baby shower favors

Let's face it, we're all tired of the little plastic trinkets that we get at baby showers! You hate to throw them away, but what do you do with them?!?!

A customer of ours recently ordered personalized bookmarks to go along with her "book baby shower" theme! I thought it was a great idea! A bookmark is something we'll all use at one time or another. The books are a great way to build up the baby's library too!

As an added twist to that I idea, I thought it would be great if guests were to select the book for the baby, then hand write a small note inside the front cover as to why they chose that particular book for the baby! Or, go with all one theme, such as books about winnie the pooh, or classic disney stories!

Anyone do something similiar that they would like to share or add on to this idea?
